The 4th annual festival will be held over three days from Friday 21st June to Sunday 23rd June 2013. Precise details will be provided in the programme, but for those who have not been before, the following gives an approximate breakdown of activities throughout the weekend.

Join the party at The Exmouth, and help get the festival weekend off to a great start!  This will be an informal get-together for anyone who’s in town (including some of the artists) to play, chat, listen, drink, eat, jam, compare, celebrate, and generally enjoy the company of other uke players and festival fans.

An action-packed day!

Food and drink will be available in the town hall throughout the day so there’s no need to miss anything.

Sunday 23rd June – Big Busk, Open Mic and Chill Out

Eek - One Man bandCheltenham town centre / The Exmouth Arms, Bath Road

10.30 am – home time

Help us take Cheltenham by storm with another BIG busk - hopefully with even more players playing than in previous years (about 250+!).  Meet in the Imperial Gardens at 10.30am, ready to strum your way along the Promenade and play outside Waterstones, starting at 11.00am. A songbook will be available here nearer the time. Feel free to submit ideas for songs via our enquiry form. We are pleased to offer all of our ukulele buskers their own backing band at this year's festival, in the shape of Eek and his one man band!

For some, the highlight will be their opportunity to take part in the Open Mic at The Exmouth in the afternoon. Whether you are a solo artist or wish to perform in a small group, or perhaps as your club, all are welcome.

There will also be some scheduled performances, and perhaps some surprises!!

Of course, if you simply want to jam with new found friends there will be plenty of that as well.

Food and drink will be available throughout the day - after all it is a pub!!
